Mask Shock Site URLs

Author Meatspin    Category Other Trickery     Tags

Google just opened its new URL shortening service which proves to be a great asset when shocking friends! As most of you already know, a good way to get unsuspecting people to view Meatspin or other shock sites is to disguise the URL with a link shortening service. For example, we visit Goo.gl and type in Meatspin.com or BellyBoner.com and we are presented with a new URL like http://goo.gl/S3bh. This obviously doesn’t show the end user anything about the site, thus greatly increasing the chances that they will click it.

Some recommended URL shortening sites:

http://www.bit.ly/
